Miss singing over the summer months? Want to improve your sight-reading without the pressure of a concert, or just try out some new music in a relaxed, fun group?

 

You – and any friends, family or acquaintances - are welcome to join our friendly and informal group of 20 or so singers working with guest conductors and singing a variety of repertoire from Renaissance music to Gospel. Come as you please - no booking required. Run by Islington Choral Society, open to members and non-members alike.

July 17th: Alyson Denza – Alyson conducted our first two Summer Singers last year

July 24th: Philip Godfrey – our former accompanist and composer

July 31st: Colin Vassel – great Gospel!

August 7th: Sarah Rodgers – Sarah is also a composer, and is writing a commissioned work for the choir to be performed next Easter
